- Received formal offer today (informal offer March 1) but no word on funding in the offer (I am an American, though, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it). If the letter didn't mention funding, can I safely assume that the department will not be offering me a studentship? I guess Clarendon is still a possibility, though--unless the department informs students about nominations before the April 15 notification date? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
