5th reject so far :( Feels like grad school isn't for me.

Any idea what’s up with Georgia Tech? I’ve seen them release only a couple of admits so far for the MS CS program.

The mail indicating to check the portal didn't reach the portal somehow. Checked the portal myself.

Has anyone finalised their admission to Columbia? Is there a group anywhere?

TTPB: I also apply for PhD/MS and have not received any notification so far. Wondering if they review the application for MS only first.

From a tier 1.5 Indian University. One research paper in an international conference, one best presentation award at a national conference. 9.5 GPA, 116 TOEFL, 335 GRE, three internships, two software engineering and one data science. 9 rejects and 2 acceptances to UChicago and USC so far.

So their portal is down until Monday and my application was still under review until yesterday .Guessing they're gearing up for sending out mass rejects? This is depressing.

Phew, they really took a lot of time to release the decisions this year. Had good LORs, good SOP, really really good personal statement specifically for UCSC, 1 publication in a peer-reviewed conference, 2.5 years of work-ex at a top US investment bank and quite a bit of open source experience. Have to decide between UCSC and Stony Brook now.

TTPB; Me and many others have received the admission letter from grad school. There was a case where people did not receive it. After emailing the grad school they found out that some document was missing due to which the letter had not come.

No email notification. You have to check the application portal.

Mine's "application under review" as well when I last checked at 12:00pm local time (at Amherst). Now the portal is down.

Are all rejects offered this generic message? Is this Online program better than USC on campus program?
