This is an update to the results I previously shared. On March 30th, I was officially rejected from the PhD program after making the waitlist. Although I was devastated, the department recommended me for the master's program, and based on my strong record, they offered me the Dean's Scholarship. Although this wasn't the outcome I've been working toward, I've decided that I'm going to accept the offer because it's still a positive result. I feel like I can still make a strong academic and professional impact with a master's degree, and regardless, I am still proud of all I've accomplished so far. :-)

Received email asking me to check portal for an update. Top student from a top 3 school in India. Graduate top 2 in my class, and course topper in many courses.

3 months after submitting my application: No interview, no communication, and no decision. nothing beyond the vague message of "You have already submitted your application." thank you Northwestern.

Unexpected

Was told I'd be contacted within two weeks. It's been three weeks but I haven't been told whether I've been rejected or accepted.

(ignore waitlist) has anyone else not heard anything from Northwestern? I haven't had an interview, acceptance, rejection, or any communication from them.
