- This is an update to the results I previously shared. On March 30th, I was officially rejected from the PhD program after making the waitlist. Although I was devastated, the department recommended me for the master's program, and based on my strong record, they offered me the Dean's Scholarship. Although this wasn't the outcome I've been working toward, I've decided that I'm going to accept the offer because it's still a positive result. I feel like I can still make a strong academic and professional impact with a master's degree, and regardless, I am still proud of all I've accomplished so far. :-)
