Phone call from POI with follow-up email

I received a phone call from POI. Interview with an option of January 27 or February 3.

Invited by POI to in person interview

Email from a professor inviting to interview on Feb 6, dinner on Feb 5th.

Phone interview with the PI on 1/5; Received official email invite 1/10

POI: called to offer me an interview. There is only one interview day on 2/10. Dinner w/ Faculty and graduate students the night before. The admission committee met earlier today so POIs will likely be making phone calls/emails over the next couple days.

Interview on campus after Skype interview in December

Was invited by POI to interview weekend 2/2-2/4. So excited! This is my first choice!

Email from POI requesting phone interview

Spoke with POI over the phone and he stated that he felt I was a great fit for his lab. He offered me admission right after the interview. I'm definitely going to accept.

POI emailed to say that I was a strong applicant and to ask preliminary questions to assess for overall lab and university fit. The questions were very similar to some phone/skype interviews that I have had. They informed me that the plan was to finish reviewing applications for their lab by the end of the week before sending out official invitations to interview day.

The Director of Graduate Studies called to tell me the admissions committee had decided to accept me immediately. She mentioned that I'm the first person they've accepted this year.

Received phone call from POI, invitation to interview 1/26 and 1/27.

Email from POI notifying that I was waitlisted for this round of interviews, said they'll be re-reviewing my application for next round.
