- POI emailed to say that I was a strong applicant and to ask preliminary questions to assess for overall lab and university fit. The questions were very similar to some phone/skype interviews that I have had. They informed me that the plan was to finish reviewing applications for their lab by the end of the week before sending out official invitations to interview day.
