to the poster below, same here with me...am so freaking tired of waiting for them. i made a contact with a potential supervisor before I applied. I thought I had an ''A'' chance of getting in since he asked me to apply.... I send mails to the unit and they keep saying my application is still being reviewed... please can anyone enlighten me on how addmission works in ryerson?

oh my! still no news... any hope for an international applicant?

International students are almost never admitted into course/project based MEng courses in Canada. This is because the tuition is around 40k (for international) and there is no funding. This means that to do the MEng 1 year you would need almost 60k CDN (40k tuition plus 20k in living, insurance, books/materials). I hope you get in but few people are able to afford it. This is why most apply for MASc since there is funding.

Did anyone got accepted for M.Eng MIE. I got an email few months back from the Department of MIE, Ryerson that my application was sent to them from admissions and is being reviewed. Didn't heard from them at all till now. A bit worried because I'm an international applicant and I would also need some time for my visa application. Fingers Crossed!

Has anyone gotten any emails from them? (MEng) I know they want me to send them a hard copy of my transcript, but the current status is still under consideration and also is it a good sign or just another process?

I got am email from the program saying "your application is in the pool of applications to be reviewed. Expect to hear from us latest end of the summer. This is after I got an earlier responding saying" your application has been reviewed but pending a final decision". I am kinda confused right now

Anybody else still waiting for their decisions? Does anyone have any information regarding ISE results for those still waiting?

I contacted the department today via email, and got a reply saying "If you are international, you will hear from us very soon. We just completed the review". We might be getting responses from them soon. I hope...
