E-mailed to check the status and surprisingly got the reply that my potential advisor didn't make any offer this year. Congrats to those who were admitted !

So excited!

I interviewed on 3.2 and on 3.18 I got an email telling me to check my application status page, which is where found out I had been accepted (like the other poster mentioned). I originally accepted the offer but have since been admitted to my first choice, so hopefully my spot goes to someone on the waitlist who really wants it!

I interviewed on 2.18 and they called me on 2.21 to let me know I was waitlisted. I got into my first choice so I've removed myself from the waitlist, but the program seems wonderful and they had an incredibly informative and engaging interview experience.

I participated in the program's virtual group interview on 4.13 and got an email notifying me of my acceptance a week later on 4.20.

I interviewed on 2/21/20 and got an email letting me know I was waitlisted on 3/2/20. Got the acceptance email a month later and I'm going to attend!

In early March I emailed a program point person to ask about my position on the waitlist and a timeline of when I could hear back as a waitlisted applicant, but I received a broad answer from them stating that my concerns would be shared with the faculty which freaked me out 😓 the last thing I wanted was to be seen as impatient. So I waited... I didn't hear back on the 15th after being waitlisted for 2+ months and my other grad friends tried to convince me that the program was probably delayed bc of COVID, so I eventually emailed the point person on the 17th to ask about my status and got a reply stating I had been denied. I'm sad I didn't get in, of course, but I'm more disappointed with the lack of communication. Additionally, the reply felt rushed - like I had been a forgotten waitlistee: "Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission at this time. Thank you for your patience and continued interest in our program, the Department of Educational Psychology, and Texas A&M University." I'm also super glad that the cohort that was accepted is made up of great people c: If we met in the interview process, I wish you the best and am sending y'all virtual hugs

Does anyone know the reason for keeping many applicants in limbo for months? No sort of admission decision whatsoever for months is unreasonable. Columbia is the only university doing this. None of the other top ranked universities have taken more than 2 months. It's infuriating.

Was the first alternate. Accepted the offer.

Received an email that the final decision can be viewed by logging into the Hunter online application account. No interview was required.

Was on alternate list for interviews but ultimately was not invited for interview; received rejection email/status update on portal :(

A bit odd considering I received an internal scholarship award for this specific program... Oh well!

Interviewed on Apr.9th and got admitted on 13th! No email notification.

Accepted off the waitlist! I will be attending :)

Received a letter today of rejection. Kind of figured since I didn't get an invite to interview but still think it's a bit tacky to send snail mail 2 days before the April 15th deadline
