Anyone got a decision from this program or should I assume that I was rejected?

Emailed the prof. He forwarded it to the grad committee who told that all the positive results have already been sent out and they don't officially send the rejects until June. Just annoyed as I was interviewed twice (first by a grad student who did a coding interview for an hour and then by a prof who said that the 1st interview didn't matter and was "just getting to know you"). Stupid drama school.

I'm currently on the waitlist. Please decline Purdue asap if you decide to go to another program. thx!

Sent an email to admission committee asking the status of my application. They replied with the following email: I have sent all positive notifications. Unfortunately, you are not being recommended for admission to the Computer Science program. We do not send denials until late in the spring because denials cannot be reversed so we wait until we are 100% done with admissions before sending denial notices.

The main dealbreaker for me is lack of respect and funding, they even couldn't afford dataset subscriptions for PhD students, and three PhD students share a shoe-box basement office that is two-level below the ground, I can't imagine living like that for 5-6 years... good professors going to leave/retire which makes current students hard to graduate/find jobs, etc. The guy told me that nowadays Purdue only invests big money for Engineering and undergraduate housing and basically abandoned most other departments. I can understand why Krannert ranked so low now. I also got offers from U of Arkansas and waitlisted for U of Kansas, I am leaning towards Arkansas at this point. It ranked a bit lower but pays me much more. What about you, do you know anything from these two places?

TPB: Could you share the negative story of this program? Also, could I know what other offers do you have currently?

Has anyone recently gotten into this program? All my documents have been complete since 12th of February but I still haven't heard from the Graduate Admissions Office. According to my portfolio website, no one has viewed it either. Really frustrated. Can someone please get in touch if they have gotten in?

So that's it for MS CS at Purdue guys, do not stay in any hope that you are getting an admit in May. They're done, we're out. All the best with other universities :)

Would it be possible to confirm the status over phone? Since there are people with other admits with acceptance deadlines, who might be waiting for Purdue to send out it's decision. Are there any more admits left at all or should we go ahead and leave Purdue out of consideration?
