Did anybody receive any news from Toronto? So far no rejection nor acceptance email has come? Does it mean that all applicants who are not notified are rejected?

TTPB: I was asked for the GRE score around the end of March and I didn't receive any response after that. This "Final UG College Transcript" has shown up on my application portal in the end of April and I don't know what it means since I didn't receive any response from them so far. Are you sure that this "Final UG College Transcript" has appeared to you today and not in the beginning of this month? I have lost my hopes already.

Rude rejection letter. DICE track

TTPB: I did not get any feedback so far. I was asked for GRE score around the beginning of May. They said I will receive an email about the application decision. Then I checked in my application portal today, it requires Final UG College Transcript which does not show before. What does it mean? Were I already rejected but the rejection letter is just not sent out?

TTPB: DICE track. I guess they don't want to take International students. Didn't see anything on Yocket too.

TTPB: No, I believe if you were not accepted by May 15th, you will not be accepted for the fall semester, especially if you applied for masters with a thesis or PHD option, as the funding for those have been maxed out and they have admitted as many as they can take. Of-course, this is just my interpretation based on what I was told, you are free to email and ask them anything you like. WRT the feedback I heard, I will post that at a later time. It was essentially information on my application, but I am on my phone and don't want to type the details until I get to a computer.

TTPB which track did you apply to? Also, any ACSES decisions?

Applied for PHD in Wireless Communications, accepted for masters with $9k scholarship per year.

Got a mail today that status was updated.

TTPB: Yes, still waiting for the result. I have contacted the admissions staff last week and they said that final offers would be out soon. Not sure when the "soon" would be.

Is anyone still waiting?

After so long, so many emails later... no notification emails or letters too. Just 'Denied' written on the portal. Anyway, I've deferred all of my plans, so next year maybe! Good luck to all those selected!

Took them long enough to deny me. Oh well I was already accepted to a better school anyways.

So I did receive some solid feedback from the advising department. I take back my last post, I was a little upset with not having heard anything, but after reaching out to some of the faculty and administration, I was able to get positive feedback. I am a student at Virginia Tech already though, a non-degree seeking student at the moment, so perhaps me being in the network was conducive to receiving valuable response. Anyway, just wanted to give a final update

Called the ECE department to get an update and was told that if I had not received an offer by May 15th I am effectively rejected, but rejection letters are not sent out until much later just incase something else goes wrong with someone else already admitted. I was not able to get any feedback on my application. When I pushed for some feedback or who to contact for some feedback I was told there was nothing necessarily wrong with my application, the amount of admitted students was simply too high already. This seems like a cop-out from giving some constructive feedback on how I could improve my application, and that is a bit unfortunate, but so is life. Good luck to everyone else!
