- Called the ECE department to get an update and was told that if I had not received an offer by May 15th I am effectively rejected, but rejection letters are not sent out until much later just incase something else goes wrong with someone else already admitted. I was not able to get any feedback on my application. When I pushed for some feedback or who to contact for some feedback I was told there was nothing necessarily wrong with my application, the amount of admitted students was simply too high already. This seems like a cop-out from giving some constructive feedback on how I could improve my application, and that is a bit unfortunate, but so is life. Good luck to everyone else!
