Has anyone heard from Northern Michigan?

Last spot on the wait list filled. Was my alma mater and has an amazing English department. I'm absolutely crushed. Congrats on those who got in, it's a great school.

When I applied to UW, at the suggestion of their website, I called to confirm my GRE scores arrived. I called 3 times, was told I would be called back, but never heard from them. I emailed them today saying that things happen, but not hearing anything about my gre scores or admittance before April 15th was very disappointing. I received a rejection letter two hours later. I'm thankfully attending a program I'm thrilled about, but for anyone applying to UW next year, I'd proceed with caution before writing the required essay on top of your sample, and paying another pricey application fee. 9a/6r/1w

Has anybody heard anything from NYU for the fiction wait list? Trying to make decisions but holding out for this one!

Was accepted by program in February. Just received an email from the program director saying that I'd have to defer my enrollment till January of 2018 if I accepted my offer. Pretty crappy of them if you ask me.

Accepted off the waitlist but declined my offer, so expect movement! 8a/2r and we're done. Elated and exhausted. Good luck, all.

If you've been accepted to the University of Arizona and don't plan on accepting, please notify them ASAP. This is my dream school and I have an actual shot at attending if you decline... no pressure :P

Rejected from the waitlist, which must mean all 10 students have accepted their spots. Completely understandable as I'd do the same if I were them. Great program.

Emailed the program director and found out that there is a delay in emails from the graduate school, not the department, as far as rejection letters go. If in doubt, I'd suggest emailing them.
