Attended interview weekend on 2/6-2/8

To the poster below who has received an acceptance to Cognitive Psych (MA) shortly after interviews: congratulations!! You must be so excited! Would you mind sharing your POI? Thank you!

Emailed by POI with offer of admission, domestic student

Rejection due to PI (initials: JK) only being able to extend 1 offer and me being 1/3 he wanted to accept. PI decided to call me instead of giving me a copy/paste email rejection since I spent so much time talking to him, other faculty, and his lab. PI had nothing but good things to say about my application and me as a potential future PhD student. The only thing I did not have that the accepted student does have is a publication in a journal, which ultimately won the department over. Really crushing. Was my top choice.

To the one asked about CLPS, it was an Unofficial email from POI (initials DS). I think they are still deciding final open house time so formal departmental invites will be sent out later

To the last poster who got the invitation from Brown: was it an official invitation from the department or POI? Could you share the initial of your POI if convenient? Thank you so much!
