Rejected after interview. Courteous email from POI saying competitive year, hard decision, etc.

Accepted for MPhil in Social Anthropology. Applied for the November deadline. Re-evaluated and held until March before being accepted. Awaiting funding and college information.

Have not heard back. Anybody been accepted/rejected/waitlisted yet?

Heard no news. Decided to check portal. Admitted to MA program with no funding. Seems to be automatic as I received no notification via email and did not hear anything from program.

TBP They didn't ask me to mail my transcript as well, they sent me an email back in January confirming that all softcopies I uploaded are good to start the process! It looks like most PhD candidates got their replies and the Masters still on hold until the end of this month. Let's stay optimistic and hope for the best, only a few days left!! FINGERS CROSSED!

I emailed the graduate director because I had not yet heard anything and learned that I am on the waitlist.

I’ve heard nothing from my POI (WSM) for about a month. He said that he would let me know as soon as he knew anything but that hadn’t met to make decisions yet. The last email was on Feb 10th. If anyone knows anything any info is greatly appreciated!!

I had not heard anything yet, so I emailed a staff member and was informed that I was not chosen for admission.

TBP I also haven't heard back yet. Haven't even gotten a request for transcripts. Either they're sending them kinda late this year, or we got rejected I think

Still waiting for the result, emailed the admission this week and they said to check the portal in the upcoming days. anyone got his results for the MA Anthropology yet or everyone else is waiting??

This was after a skype interview with the full committee and a phone call with potential PI. Received email saying to check website; funding information included.

I was 1 of 20 people interviewed. They said they needed a couple weeks to decide. I checked the application portal, and got an extremely generic rejection letter because they 'had too many qualified applicants' from the graduate admissions office. I received nothing from the department, and no notification to me directly, I just happened to check the application and see it.

To acceptees, have you received your formal offer letter? Any idea when we should be expecting them? Thanks!

Has anyone heard back from them? I haven't heard anything. Does that mean I am waitlisted?
