To posters below: I still have no response about my status, so we still in it to win it (hopefully)

To the person enquiring about Florida, I am also waiting for their decision and so I called them up yesterday. The lady who answered my phone said that the decisions are still going on and we should hear back by the end of this week. I would like to request you to call them from your side too and post the result of the conversation here.

Anyone heard admission offer from university of florida, North Carolina State University?

The institution's will to shut me out succumbs to my own will to indebt myself. Fully funded offer with living stipend and health insurance. 1a/1w/12r //25

"Thank you for your application to the graduate program in the Department of English at the University of Florida. We received a large number of applications, and while we are unable to offer you admission at this time, you are on our wait list. This means our admissions committee was very impressed by your application and feels that you will thrive in a strong doctoral program. We would like to admit you provided we have room. We are currently in the process of offering admissions to those in the first group accepted into the program. The agreed upon national deadline for admissions decisions is April 15. While we fully respect the rights of all admitted students to take up until the April 15th deadline, we do expect to hear from a number of them before then. We will contact you again as soon as we have any more information. I would also appreciate if you would let us know if at any point you would no longer want to be considered for admission by us."

So I applied to both the MS and PhD programs... Haven't heard back from the PhD yet though...

I had to email them before they returned with the decision. Others waiting might want to do the same.

To the person who asked a while back about my placement on the high-alternate list for DJ, yes I was interviewed. He just emailed me again yesterday to said his initial offer-ee had a family illness so has not had time to think about her decision.

To the poster below, I hadn't noticed but you're right, no one has posted a rejection. I was waitlisted and a tiny bit of hope since I haven't been accepted anywhere else yet. This is a super-shady admissions practice if they are really keeping people on a waitlist instead of outright rejecting. Does not bode well for the school at all.

I asked them about results and they replied my email and said I will received formal email from graduate school.

I'm waitlisted. It seems like they have not rejected anyone outright . Does anyone else feel they've put everyone who was not accepted on the waitlist?

There was no interview, and I was notified via email

I have work experience in my field and anticipate having a Master's degree soon which probably helped my application a lot. I also met my future adviser at a conference and started a rapport with him which also probably helped me get accepted.

Anyone here from UF for AuD? We were told "early March" during the open house/speed interviews. Should be this week?
