Hi, I reported acceptance; I was in the waitlist and applied about 10 days after the deadline. I am waiting for USF because I believe it is the better program, but I am on the waitlist there and was accepted in UC Davis and Stevens, but don't know which one to attend. Any opinions?

Thinking about attending, definitely. Question for everyone else around here: what other programs were you considering? Did anyone consider Steven's BI&A or the Data Science programs at Berkeley, USF or NYU?

Is anyone going to reject the offer? Just wanted to know if I should keep any hopes or not...

Got an offer from Oxford, so it really does not matter.

Got the following message today "Thank you for your application to the M.S. in Data Science program. While your background and experiences are on the right track, the Committee will be moving forward with other candidates at this time. The applications received this year for the Fall 2018 term have been extremely competitive." Was asked if I wanted to be considered for the part-time, non-degree Certification of Professional Achievement program in Data Science, idea being that you could complete some of the degree reqs and reapply at a later date if you wanted to get masters. Already got admits from other reputable degree programs so will not be requesting consideration for Columbia's certification program.

I just got confirmation I'm on wait list as of today. Will keep everyone posted. Good luck everyone else, and congrats to those who got accepted!

Got an email to check the application portal, and received the rejection letter in the portal. But I'm thankful that they notified me before April 15th.

Generic rejection from associate dean, needless to say am slightly disappointed but looking at everyone else's profiles I guess it was expected. Congrats to all the admits!
