To the post below, I am still awaiting a reply. I got a vague response saying that they will contact each applicant by late March or early April with their decision.

I had applied to this PhD position: the job position number of NV-141/18, which was a Ph.D. position in the field of “Optimal operation and control of energy storage systems” in the Department of Chemical Engineering at NTNU, financed by the HighEFF-Centre at SINTEF and NTNU for “Energy Efficient and Competitive Industry for the Future. There was a total number of 94 applicants for only one single vacant position! Got rejected, however, I was from a top-ranked university with an outstanding CV and several ISI publications and under-review papers.

Has anyone heard back from UC Irvine? Any news from them?

To the poster below : Gatech rolled out 2 waves of reject yet. Haven't heard of any international admits. Even my status is 'To Dept for review'. As per previous year trends, we should expect to hear by the end of March.

Hi guys, has anyone got admission from Gatech (MS)? Does anyone knows when they will give the application results? I have checked the application checklist and it still show “For dept to review”. Thanks a lot!
