Unofficial notice. Offical email from dean to come.

We received 456 applications for a class size of approximately 40 students for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Had been expecting this. Very nice email from a professor.

Shut down.

At 1:30 Eastern Time. Invited to open house! If you receive an email directing to website, should mean rejection as I heard! Good Luck to others!

All accepted POME students were notified a few weeks ago. Very kind e-mail.

Generic rejection letter, no interview so figured it was coming.

Gave an Interview before 2 weeks!!

M.S./Ph.D. So happy! I just applied to this school :)

I heard that they didn`t consider to admit new students for CS, MS but they opened their application for it. Wasting more than $100. here is e-mail I received from Krste Asanovic. In response to your application to graduate study in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley for the Fall Semester 2012, we regret to inform you that we are unable to recommend your admission due to the large number of outstanding applications that were received and our limited enrollment allotment.
