Has anyone heard from OISE in terms of Social Justice Education PhD applicants?

75% scholarship, but because it's in New York that still could be too expensive.

i got an email telling me to check my portal. My portal said i was rejected :/

Received interview request from PI (CN) on 12/7, had interview on 12/17. She followed up with some more information on 12/22 and then emailed me again on 1/28 to let me know the funding situation was still unclear and asked if it was make-or-break for me. Since then, I haven't heard anything. Does anyone else in this area have any updates?

Reached out to my PI (SB) after the other social psych student said they had done so, and she emailed me back saying that my research (which she specifically described in the message) was "fascinating" and "important" but that they had gotten 3x the usual number of applications and had to choose only a few to interview. So obviously I was not one of them. At least she tried to be personal I guess, but why couldn't the program let us know sooner so we don't have to wait and reach out to individual faculty members?

I interviewed last week and was contacted by POI today. They informed me that the wait list is pretty small and that admitted students have until 4/15 to accept or decline their offers. If you got admitted and do not want to attend please let them know, I would LOVE to attend NIU!

Was invited to interview sessions and attended. Interviewed with 5 professors.

Was accepted, and told about advisor, but not notified about the fellowship or funding package. Official email to come in the next few weeks.
