If you have been admitted and not planning to attend, please inform them soon, thanks.

I have some other STEM-designated offers in AgEocn, so will decline this offer soon. As an international student, it is very important to be enrolled in a STEM-designated program to have a 3-year OPT after graduation to secure a position in the U.S. I was a little surprised to find out that Purdue AgEcon is still not a STEM discipline.

will decline this offer although Purdue AgEcon is reasonably strong. This program is not designated as a STEM, which puts international students at a great disadvantage in the job market. I heard that the department is unwilling to give up AgEcon and maintain its non-stem status in the future. what a near-sighted decision!
