- I have some other STEM-designated offers in AgEocn, so will decline this offer soon. As an international student, it is very important to be enrolled in a STEM-designated program to have a 3-year OPT after graduation to secure a position in the U.S. I was a little surprised to find out that Purdue AgEcon is still not a STEM discipline.
