E-mailed potential PI in October, submitted application shortly after. Deadline to apply was November 15th. Received rejection via OSU's website, e-mail will follow.

Decision posted in portal about 12 hours before email came.

Email with acceptance and offer letter. Materials track. Three years of undergraduate research in polymers, 2 REUs, 1 first author pub, two first authors in review, one second author in review.

No email yet - logged in to my portal and saw that I had been admitted! No GRE, no publications, roughly 3 years of research experience in various fields, PER interest

No email yet. Saw the update in the application portal.

I haven’t received an email yet, but I got a decision in my applicant portal

First got notice that a Buckeye email was made for me then got email

Received in person interview invitation with travel and lodging support

Received an invite to a 2-day campus visit event. OSU pays for both travel and hotel costs. Sounds like an interview + tour, the email essentially says I'm accepted into the program as long as I can find a professor who wants me in their group. 3.66 overall GPA, but 3.88 GPA at current university. Had a 3.14 GPA for my freshman year at a different university. Both are public R1 flagship unis. No GRE. No publications, but 2+ semesters plus one summer of research experience.

Poor fit
