- Received an invite to a 2-day campus visit event. OSU pays for both travel and hotel costs. Sounds like an interview + tour, the email essentially says I'm accepted into the program as long as I can find a professor who wants me in their group. 3.66 overall GPA, but 3.88 GPA at current university. Had a 3.14 GPA for my freshman year at a different university. Both are public R1 flagship unis. No GRE. No publications, but 2+ semesters plus one summer of research experience.
