So happy to be put on the waitlist for such an awesome program! Does anyone know how often people got pulled off the waitlist in years past?

Got an email to check the Penn State Portal. Was super confused because the wording made it seem like by hitting accept I was allowing the Graduate School to review my application and then would find out their decision, and there was no big CONGRATULATIONS like other portals. However, not the case.. only hit accept if you decide to go there.

Waitlisted. This is my top choice, so if you know that you aren't attending, please respond with your decision! Really appreciate it :)

To the person who posted below, my portal still says complete and ready for review. Maybe they are going through all the applications now and will send out emails once they look at all of them?

No funding

Dr. Estrem called me this afternoon to let me know I had been accepted. Majored in Spanish and then returned to school for a SLHS second major; bilingual in Spanish and English; years of experience working with children both here and abroad. This is my top choice so I am so excited!

I looked online where it says check application status and all it says is decision made but doesn't say whether that was waitlist, denial, or acceptance. Does anyone have any more information on this?

Hey I’m the poster with funding. Make sure to check under Deparmental decisions because that’s where my funding was listed. Didn’t see it at first. I have a 3.9 GPA overall but 4.0 in major. GRE verbal 158 quant 155. Nsslha, research, volunteering and teach ESL
