I've also applied and haven't heard anything. Do you know if they did interviews?

Those who are accepted to the "Information Studies" PhD program, can you kindly share your profile?

Offered unofficial waitlist.

anyone hear from this school? will there be an interview?

5r/1w/0a/2P This process really sucks.

Word of advice: please do not spend all of your time trying to get into these “big name” schools. It’s not about the school you choose, it’s about the work you produce. Good luck everyone!

Applied from a double major undergrad (in two directly relevant degrees) with 4.0 and strong references.

Personal email from program director. They’re still looking for funding, will give me final word in a few weeks.

Expected. I wasn't the ideal fit.

Really a bit surprised after interviewing on-campus and having things go really well. I guess I wasn't a good fit departmentally, however. It's a very competitive year. Also, if I had been accepted I wouldn't have gone here. South Bend is a horribly depressing area of the country economically and both crime and weather-wise. Lots of students get medical Rxs for UV lamps due to the permacloud, but health insurance will not cover IUDs (Catholic)... Lucky to have a top ten under my belt.

So excited! Still waiting from other schools, but will most likely be accepting this offer!

Really sucks again to be rejected from the one program I actually wanted but I knew that was gonna happen 🤷🏿‍♀️ This grad school shit is ghetto

Checked online portal. Received an email/PDF with fellowship funding package today.
