Anybody got admitted off the WL for NYU's MSDS ? Have been on the WL for a month now

Went to the waitlist in the first round and got the offer literally on the second last day. This is my top choice so definitely worth it. I feel super lucky because though I have 3 periods of research experience, I have absolutely no publication. I had strong recommendation letters, and I guess they are the sole element that got me here. Also, my prof is a first-year AP. That also made the application somehow easier. Also received offer from UCSB PhD and Brown MS, which are both very nice. But I prefer the NYU group and the big-city vibe in NYC.

Applied in early February and interviewed. Decision came out on the 27th. $62.5k in funding. Will accept.

Disgraceful and disrespectful - these are the only words I can use to describe the way the department handled the application process. I don't know what was going on behind the curtain, but please, treat us like adults and be transparent.

MyFile status: "reviewed-unsuccesful"

Finally!!

TPB. I received an interview on mid March but didn't hear from them until now. Just check the application portal and the status is still under review. The Econ Department at York has more than 40 faculties but they even can not complete the application review.

I had an interview in mid-March but nothing heard from them so far. really wondering how it's taking so long?

Please ignore the waitlist but I was wondering if anyone has heard back from York University for a Masters in Econ. I have to make a decision asap and if York doesn't take me, I will have to accept another offer. Did anyone get their results yet?

Any WA grp for MS DS NYU Fall 21?

NYU Courant CS PhD. Applied 12/12/2020. No GRE. No interviews. Rejected 27/04/2021. Good luck to all admitted students.

Had already committed elsewhere since NYU sent the decision weeks after every other deadline despite emailing them and asking for an update on the timeline...

Those who had got admits earlier and decided on attending other schools, please deny the acceptance as soon as possible.

Waitlisted through email. To those who've been accepted and are not planning to go, please decline your offers as soon as possible! :)

Submitted application day before early admin deadline, notified 27 days later. Hear they try to get it back within a month. Got 30% tuition scholarship for being poor. Still waiting to hear for other scholarships. SO EXCITED!!!

Difficulty choosing between NYU - Courant and U Chicago MPCS. Can anyone provide insight?
