Actually really surprised and upset about this one..

I emailed the department for inquiry on the size of the waitlist and got replied: “We had 232 applications for 12-15 slots. We made 28 offers of acceptance expecting half to decline the offer.” It does not answer my confusion directly but I assume there are not a lot of guys on that waitlist considering the number of the spots. If I am wrong, pls let me know.

Off the waitlist and after an interview. Really excited for this one.

Also got the BBSP Director's Award! Great school!

Contacted department almost a week ago regarding the status of my application, but haven't heard anything in response. Given the results of some others who did the same, it is not looking good. The least they could do is let people know instead of taking the $80 application fee and dipping.

Emailed DGS to get anticipated response. Sucks but still better than hanging out there in limbo....

Out of state applicant. This was my second year applying - I was wait listed last year. Incredibly tough decision between this and another program (I was wait listed there last year too) but I am so grateful for the acceptance!! Don't give up if you really want a particular school!

Was interviewed and then not accepted... I don't understand these people.

Generic rejection letter. 1.5 years research experience at Harvard. They probably looked at my quant score and nothing else.

I decided to check the application portal and it had my admission decision.
