I am completely blown away. I am a nontraditional, older student coming from a different field (though still related to communications) . I've spent the last three years shadowing audiologists and taking classes just to get more involved in the field. Fell in love with audiology even though everyone said Speech Path was more a "fit" given my background. I'm a strong student but applied with the thought, "Oh, I'll probably get rejected. I'll take this extra year to just plow through some more classes/shadowing". Rush was my second choice. Beyond grateful! Ran screaming through my workplace.

To those inquiring about ETSU i'm not sure what happened for those who posted, but when I emailed about when they would be having interviews I received an email back asking for my schedule at the end of February for a tentative interview schedule. Sounded like the official interview notices would be coming soon.

Got accepted today!! Waiting to hear back about funding and other acceptances from other schools, but SO excited!! one of my top choices!!

for those who received an email from ETSU about interviews would you mind sharing your stats? I didn't receive one and was confident I would. Did it come from Shella Bennett?
