I knew it was coming after seeing acceptances go out a few weeks ago. Congrats to those who got in!

Standard rejection. GPA is MA.

General email. Just glad to know. 2a/0w/6r/2p

Received an email stating, “ I regret to inform you that we are unable to accept your application for admission to the PhD program in English at the University of Oregon. We received a high number of outstanding applications and were unable to accept many applicants with great promise. We appreciate the time and effort you put into your application. It was a pleasure to read the writing samples and statements of purpose from so many wonderful applicants, even knowing we would only be able to send good news to so few. Thank you for your interest in the English Program at the University of Oregon. I wish you the best of luck in your future studies.” 0a/4r/2p

Really hope this materializes. I think it’s my only shot this cycle. 4.0 MA GPA. 0a/1w/5r/1p

just waiting patiently to hear back soon from the english masters program...

Email to check portal. Absolutely no information on funding.

Happened to check the portal and saw the update. Early modern and gender/queer studies. Dream program and will definitely be accepting. For those still waiting on the GC, I spoke with someone in admissions on Friday and they said that if you have not received a response yet, it is not a soft rejection - they are still in the process of issuing decisions. Good luck to everyone!

Please this is a dream program for me, so if you are a modernist and/or queer studies and you don’t want to go to CUNY, please let them know! 0a/2w/3r/1p
