I like this program. Fingers crossed! 4a/2w/2r/1p

Has anyone heard anything from Irvine yet?

Same as others. I have a feeling everyone is on the waitlist? Haven’t seen any rejections go up.

Shortest, most terse message I’ve received so far in this process. Not very encouraging tbh

Yes, your words of wisdom DO help accepted-Rutgers-Camden-person. :-) Thanks!

To the poster below: I also received that email, same wording. I assumed it was a form rejection, albeit a very nice one.

In response to the poster below - not everyone gets that email, some receive only an email to check the portal. You must have submitted something they liked! Last year, I received that email, and this year I was accepted. Having now received many rejections (as well as a few acceptances), I know that not every school tells you they enjoyed your work or to continue writing. At an institution that is known to personalize their rejections, I received only a "thanks for your interest in our program and good luck." It's so subjective - and while that's a good thing (there should be diversity in tastes and standards so the work later is just as diverse), it can feel terribly chaotic. I hope these words help.

I posted the other day that I only saw in the portal that I was rejected. Today I got the official Camden email rejection. Has anyone else received a rejection email? Seems like in previous years, not everyone has? Also I'm unsure of whether it was a form rejection or a higher-tiered rejection. Second line is "We have read your application with great interest." Sincerely, Confused

Reached out. Bryan B. said that acceptances and waitlists were very recently decided, so you'll likely be hearing from people soon. Good luck to everyone else who applied!

Received a wonderful phone call. She said email with official acceptance will be coming within the next few weeks. Dreams come true!

1a/8r/0p...that's it for me! 2nd time around applying for schools. The only program I got into is fully funded and is a dream school (that I still don't know why they let me in lol), so looks like I'm going there.

!!! This one's tied for number 1 program - will take a big offer for me to decline. 2a/1w/0r/2p
