[NOT WL] To clarify: the comment regarding no full funding offers was specifically for the public policy phd program. The information regarding funding in the public policy program unfortunately still holds true. GW PhDs may always be fully funded in certain programs, but this is not true in the Trachtenberg program (as indicated on website). I always specify the public policy program in the search and am new to the general GW page. I simply wanted to share this crucial information to those admitted to my specific program. I apologize for any confusion – my intent was never to demotivate others! | ||||

Was waitlisted on March 2nd with a personal email: "We remain extremely interested in you as an applicant, and believe you'd be a strong fit should one of those initial offers be turned down. You are currently on our waitlist." UVA was my first choice and I was extremely excited and optimistic, however, got another personal email yesterday saying that I was rejected. "I wanted to reach out as soon as possible to let you know that unfortunately we are unable to offer you a spot in our PhD program this year." Really disappointed. | ||||
