- Was waitlisted on March 2nd with a personal email: "We remain extremely interested in you as an applicant, and believe you'd be a strong fit should one of those initial offers be turned down. You are currently on our waitlist." UVA was my first choice and I was extremely excited and optimistic, however, got another personal email yesterday saying that I was rejected. "I wanted to reach out as soon as possible to let you know that unfortunately we are unable to offer you a spot in our PhD program this year." Really disappointed.
