Very kind email from DGS letting me know about the funding package. First positive news of the season. Please let go of your spot if you are not going. GPA is MA/MFA. 7R/1W/0A/5P

Notified via email of portal update. A little surprised but good luck to all who end up accepting!

GPA is MA. Interview will be Friday morning. 2a/3r/1i/1p

A follow up to the person who posted on February 28th explaining they had been rejected after e-mailing the department directly, rather than any communication sent to them or through portal updates. This unfortunately does seem to be the case. I was informed that they had nearly 200 applications for 5 spots in the program this year. If you have not heard back by now, you were not accepted or waitlisted but it's "still possible we could move past them" and if that is the case you will hear back no later than April 15th. The lack of communication and unwillingness to send out an automated email to the other 185~ applicants to keep them updated on their status headed into mid-March seems a little ridiculous to me. Ah well! Good luck to those who end up in the program.

DGS had some applications that got stuck in a technical error. I heard today I am waitlisted but all decisions should have come out Feb.

Email to check portal for status update. Already assumed this was a rejection so didn’t feel like much of a hit.

4w/8r/4p I don’t mean to be that guy, but I’m on four waitlists and I might still not be able to matriculate to a program. I am in a state of shock. If you don’t intend to commit to UND, send in your declination letter if you’re able. Thanks for hearing me out.

Email to check portal. Knew it was coming, just weird that the rejection notifications have been staggered. 1a/3w/7r/2p

W/ 14k scholarship per year. Wondering if anyone has received more funding than that.

Not a waitlist. Has anyone heard back from USC yet?

Got in with a $14,000 scholarship, already accepted a PhD offer, though -- 4a/1w/1r/0p

Notified via portal update, 14k tuition scholarship

As others have written for this program, if you've been accepted but have an offer you prefer from another PhD program, all of my body systems responsible for stress will thank you for moving me off the funding waitlist

Sent general email asking for an interview—Interview was completed on March 3rd—waiting to hear back.

met with DGS today to discuss the program. They are still working out who will be funded though… fingers crossed!

still shellshocked. visiting in march!!
