- A follow up to the person who posted on February 28th explaining they had been rejected after e-mailing the department directly, rather than any communication sent to them or through portal updates. This unfortunately does seem to be the case. I was informed that they had nearly 200 applications for 5 spots in the program this year. If you have not heard back by now, you were not accepted or waitlisted but it's "still possible we could move past them" and if that is the case you will hear back no later than April 15th. The lack of communication and unwillingness to send out an automated email to the other 185~ applicants to keep them updated on their status headed into mid-March seems a little ridiculous to me. Ah well! Good luck to those who end up in the program.
