Is there anyone who recently got admission for Ph.D. / M.Sc.? Recently means last week, if you didn't get an offer in last week, maybe there is a sad news waiting for us. Analyzing this year acceptance/rejection pattern, I can assume there are rejections coming up for the following week.. :/ One week for acceptance the next week for rejection at least for the CS department. On a different note, previously people were not that much interested to do Ph.D. after their M.Sc. as long as they secure a job. Nowadays more people are getting interested to pursue Ph.D. The competition is getting tougher with time ..... :( FINGERS CROSSED!!!

To the person below whose application status is still "in review": may I know how you were informed of your acceptance if your uapply doesn't show something like "decision made"? Did you receive an email from the department? Thanks!

"We are unfortunately not able to offer you any funding at this time". My application on the website still shows as "In Review", anyone in a similar state?

@ the person asking about counselling masters: based on their website, I would assume you are correct, but I haven't heard anything either so hopefully they haven't sent out everything yet!

Have received five straight rejections from my top picks. Only McGill, Alberta, Toronto, and UMich Ann Arbor are left. Given that these colleges are already sending out acceptances; Can I safely assume that my fall 2018 will end with 9 straight rejections or Is there any hope left?

International Student. Lots of Math courses. Offered a place in the program and TAship 10k.

It says on McGill's website that notices to all successful applicants will go out by April 1st. Given that today is a holiday (Good Friday) I am wondering if all notifications have already been sent? Does anyone have any wisdom on this?

I contacted the admissions dept. and they said they'll send out 'All decisions and results' by next week (1st week of April). Sincerely hope I get in.

CSE Undergrad at an old IIT, CGPA 9.4, major GPA 9.57, GRE 331, TOEFL 115, very relevant coursework, Multiple research experiences, good LORs, no publications, field is theory. Very disappointed that there is no funding. The funding description on the department webpage looks dubious now. "Most of our Masters students are funded", "The admission letter you will receive will contain a formal funding offer. If you are a great student, you will get a great offer." Would not have applied if not for such a description. Already have much better offers. :)

Emailed the program director today and got a rejection. The program director told me that they have rolled out all the admission offers
