Submitted application before the November deadline (over four months ago). My advisor request form response was positive and indicated that multiple faculty members were interested in my work. Heard nothing for months. I emailed last week asking for an update and was told that “admissions decisions are a bit more delayed than usual this cycle.” Shortly after that email, I received a rejection via the portal. A bit of a frustrating process.

Email from Tim O'Keefe. Georgia State is my dream school, if anyone isnt considering accepting please withdraw your application to help speed along the waitlist. Thank you!

like just tell me if im rejected already plszzzssssszs. has anyone gotten their rejections yet?

2 weeks to accept

Went to the prospective student weekend and everything. Sad it didn't work out but honestly it is okay.

And they say Friday the 13th is unlucky. This was my final program to hear back from; the cycle is over!
