- Submitted application before the November deadline (over four months ago). My advisor request form response was positive and indicated that multiple faculty members were interested in my work. Heard nothing for months. I emailed last week asking for an update and was told that “admissions decisions are a bit more delayed than usual this cycle.” Shortly after that email, I received a rejection via the portal.
