Very disappointed, Had so many hopes > International funding limitations. Looks like the Universities that are supposed to preach equity in education are discriminating against the candidates based on their nationality.

GPA is for grad school. Got an email to check the portal. Standard rejection letter.

Domestic student, had personal connection with a potential supervisor, 3.89 GPA, strong teaching and research experience and strong references. I was so surprised to be rejected but I was. I hadn't upload an optional personal essay because I was super busy with work, not sure if it was related to that but don't take the chance and write it (it was for of you are a personal of color which I am or if you have other life experiences)

Canadian domestic student, 85% (4.0/4.33 approximately) UGrad GPA from top 3 Canadian uni. Notified by Email, official letter pending.

Ignore WL. Has anyone heard from Daniels at UT for the PhD program?

Canadian student. That is my top choice! Does anyone know what the admission rate is?

Received an email with an offer of admission. Formal offer to come within the next few days. So excited! This was one of my top choices.

I didn't think i would get in! So happy! Domestic applicant, did undergrad in the department, had strong references from department profs.

I received an email to check the application portal today. Canadian applicant, GPA is undergrad, and I'm currently completing an MA with a similar average.

Emailed to ask about status, was told they are still reviewing applications but mine has been put on the waitlist. Final decision to come by March 21st. Not my first choice program. GPA is masters. 2a/1w/3r/1p

Ignore WL. Has anyone heard form U of T yet?

Selected by two PIs, was waitlisted due to the limited number of offers for international applicants. Got an offer from one of those PIs through another Program, will take it

Admitted into MA DPE. POI called me themselves to let me know I'd been accepted so really excited! My listed GPA is cumulative but I think this program mostly just looks like your final year, which was 3.9 GPA for me, if that helps. The official acceptance letter isn't sent out until mid-March, so I can't accept the offer until I get that. Best of luck to everyone else who applied!

To those who got U of T-Finance offers, if you have other dominating offers, could you please reject this one sooner? Sorry this is my one and last chance this year. Thank you so much!

I got a 5k entrance award.
