To the Montana poster below, I had the exact same experience, but obviously with a different outcome. Was tired of waiting so emailed, received a generic email back with a link to the portal, and there was an acceptance letter from the dean of the graduate school. No details about funding. Letter was not dated, so I have no idea when they made this decision. So. Weird. Awesome! But weird. And so my season ends: 2a/1w/3r/0p

I emailed to check on my decision status. They sent back a very generic email with a link to the portal with my updated decision. I wonder when they would have let me know about my rejection if I hadn't asked... kind of a sucky way to give decisions if you ask me

Was asked to email all pending by the director of a program I got accepted into (so I could let them know my decision asap). So, I did. Always sucks to be rejected but have two offers with full funding who seem to really want me , so... "Our committee has sent out its initial offers of admission and a short list of waitlist letters. However, they have not completely closed their deliberations, so rejection letters have not gone out. This has been an unusual year in terms of numbers and strength of applicants, so they are unsure how deep into the pool they will need to go. If we have any news for you, we will send it as soon as we possibly can, but will understand if you have other offers and need to make decisions earlier."
