- Was asked to email all pending by the director of a program I got accepted into (so I could let them know my decision asap). So, I did. Always sucks to be rejected but have two offers with full funding who seem to really want me , so... "Our committee has sent out its initial offers of admission and a short list of waitlist letters. However, they have not completely closed their deliberations, so rejection letters have not gone out. This has been an unusual year in terms of numbers and strength of applicants, so they are unsure how deep into the pool they will need to go. If we have any news for you, we will send it as soon as we possibly can, but will understand if you have other offers and need to make decisions earlier."
