To the person below -- the head of the Sociolinguistics concentration told me that they are still finalizing decisions but we should hear back soon.

Got a great offer from another university, but might consider CUNY if they offer funding...

No funding, will not be accepting.

I was accepted with funding and a 33% teaching assistantship. I turned them down in favor of a better offer. Congrats to those who are attending.

Application has been forwarded to the program for review

an unofficial acceptance letter from POI Accepted with full funding package (though I was told that they will send the official notification letters on funding in early March) This was my dream school, so I am so excited!

Didn't receive an email; decisions are posted on the website.

They realized that they were not actually planning to add any students to the program in the next year, so they are refunding my application fee and inviting students to apply again next year.

Submitted my application and then two days later the director of the program emailed me asking to schedule an informal brief chat that was mostly to my benefit in that it was primarily for me to ask questions about the program. The phone call was on Saturday and I received notification of acceptance today.
