[I'd received informal news of acceptance (and inquiry re ext. funding sources) from sub-field chair on Feb 22]. Official letter says fellowship status (ie whether I'm awarded or waitlisted) to be announced March 3rd. Excited, anxious, really hope this works out... first choice! |

The usual - this year particularly difficult, selecting approx 7 out of over 170 apps, a bunch of us looked at your app & discussed it several times... etc. Not shocked but still disappointed. One would think they have the wisdom to send rejections by email once decided, not keep you waiting for a rejection in the mail. Sigh... |
