Any updates from anyone? I know from a pervious post, admissions said the end of march is when a second wave may be coming but I'm surprised no one (at least who use this site) has heard anything from the first wave. |

To the poster asking about my Quant: Yes, it is 161 for real. Although I didn't submit my scores to the Canadian schools since I didn't have to, I did submit it to Yale. To add some perspective, the rest of my application was very perfect with a 4.0/4.0 subject GPA for Econ and a lot of Math courses with perfect grades. Extremely strong letters of recommendation and work experience for the government (not sure if that helped). Additionally, my SOP was said to be "insightful" so I believe that boosted my application. I'm guessing the GRE is used initially to segregate applications based on scores and is then used as a tie-breaker if needed! |
