Graduate School Admission Results

For information studies applicants: I contacted the department today and I was told the March 3rd date was just an estimate and they haven't reviewed all the applications yet! I only finished my application in January. I recommend emailing them if you are pressed for time! She was very nice and answered really quickly.

M.Ed., Higher Education. ROSI updated to invited early February. Received mail dated March 1.

Found out by email, official letter in the mail and received $5000 award!

sgs still shows "under review". The admission office replied: applicants applied before Nov. 15 will get the results sometime in March. :(

Does anyone of the international students who applied to the PhD program in ECE at U of T hear something from the university? I have not heard anything yet concerning my application, although I applied early this year. Is this an indication of rejection or it is ok. I cannot wait to hear from them.

To the ECE poster below, I have emailed the grad office and received this generic response: "While it is still possible that a professor will still indicate interest in your application, many professors have already selected their students and as time goes on it becomes less and less likely that there will still be positions left to fill. If no professor has indicated interest in your application by mid-June, we will let you know that your application has been unsuccessful."

Domestic Canadian student. Status updated on ROSI to Invited to Register, nothing on ACORN yet.

I am not the poster below but thought it would be helpful to share the funding details. $8.5k tuition fees, $8.8k Fellowship, $8.2k TA, $4k RA. I would appreciate if others share as well. Thanks!

The status in the application system has changed to "decision made" 10 days ago, yet I haven't heard from the Sociology department. What is happening?! Assuming rejection, but it's so weird. Anyone heard from them?

Domestic student. Received informal offer via email. No details about funding.

ROSI status updated on March 1 (states "invited") and then a letter of acceptance arrived in the mail on March 7.
