To whom got the offer from Finance PhD program. Congratulation! If you have another better offer, could you please decline it ASAP? I am on the first position of WL. This is my last hope this year. Really appreciate your help!!!

No hard feelings

I'm actually shocked to receive this result. I had no expectation whatsoever because I neither got an invitation for an interview nor the virtual prospective student held in February. I'm stocked because this is the 4th time I have applied to this program since I graduated in 2017. I felt I had 4 strong LORs and solid SOP, with 4 years of experience in IOC. Also had 2 first author publication.

I got notified about the acceptance unofficially much earlier from potential supervisor, had an interview and got invited to the virtual graduate school visit early Feb.

This was my reach school. Fortunately, I've already been accepted at one of my other top choices so I'm not too bummed out. Congrats to those that got in!

I extremely honored and will be accepted this offer. I volunteered within the field and had wide range experiences in different populations. I had strong letter of recs and personal statement. Congrats to everyone who is accepted!!!! I would love to connect with fall 2022 cohort.

THIS WAS A BIG REACH! I am in shock right now over this as I was fully expecting to be denied. Only bummed that I couldn't make it into that final pile but being considered for waitlist is an honor.

Unrelated undergrad major, CSD prerequisite GPA 3.94, ESL teaching experience, research experience, 4 years unrelated full time experience

260+ hours of volunteer service, multiple leadership positions, research experience, TA, a minor, a certificate, and work experience. a little sad but congrats to everyone who got in!

Double major, lots of volunteering experience (leadership position in all clubs), worked as TA and had other jobs on campus. Worked in a few research labs with professors who wrote me strong LOR. Belong to a minority group and speak three different languages fluently. Please don't beat yourself up as I did. You never know what type of student they are looking for. Keep your head up!
