Nice rejection, at least: "In your case, your application to SES originated with your application to EECS where you indicated that you would like to be considered for the SES doctoral program in addition to EECS. Thank you for your interest in the Social and Engineering Systems Doctoral Program; we were pleased to read your application. ... Unfortunately, for a combination of reasons, we cannot admit every applicant, including some very qualified and talented applicants. We are sorry to have to inform you that we are not able to offer you admission to the Social and Engineering Systems Doctoral Program for the 2017/2018 academic year."

I wonder about the kind of candidates they accept. Thought it was a good fit given my background.

20 min after interview, POI called me and told me the results.

Is anyone still waiting for results from ORC? My status is still in review. However, I found that both acceptance and rejections have be released a week ago. Send two emails to the admin but received no response..

3.6 UGPA. Non-aero undergrad. No publications. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad. Or both. Can waitlisted people be admitted before April 15?
