The poster who got rejected from Mcgill PhD, did you have interview? What was your intended field of research? Did they say anything else?

Emailed the program director today and got a rejection. The program director told me that they have rolled out all the admission offers

Rejected. No one cares if you are interested or passionate about subject. Only thing that matters is GRE. Hate this system.

So stupid school, from an AMS group 1 top applied math graduate school, have an master of mathematics in applied math, was rejected, interesting!

Received an unofficial partial financial support for first sem. They said I will have to contact myself for TA-RA.

So excited, my #1 choice :)

This is a predictable result, but still a little disappointed. After all, this is my dream school and this is really an excellent place to study PDEs.
