"The Admissions Committee has reviewed your application and designated you as an alternate for admission to the graduate program in Public Policy. This designation means that the committee has found you qualified to undertake graduate work at the University and that your application will be considered in the event that space in the program becomes available." This is my second waitlist (Georgetown/GPPI is the other), though I was not rejected from any of the schools that I applied to. I guess id doesn’t matter; I already made my decision to go back to my hometown to attend JHU where I was given a tuition scholarship of $16,000.00 per year that I never asked for.
