Student in CUNY Honors College, Italian major (I'm American), stellar GPA, above average GRE, letters of recommendation from two CUNY full professors (also academically well-respected) that also teach as part of Comp Lit in Grad Center (they both wanted to work with me for the PhD). I didn't really want to go here, but geeze.
