I regret to inform you that you have not been admitted to the Ph.D. in Robotics program at Carnegie Mellon University. Our admissions committee scrutinizes applications to identify and compose a group with best potential for cutting-edge robotics research in our institute. We can support only a limited number of new students, about 35, yet we received over 820 applications this year. Many applicants have strong qualifications and will likely go on to successful careers in robotics.
